Description
The US Coast Guard requires rework and/or modification of (1) NSN 6340-01-HS1-2507, P/N 805-10001-026, TCAS Processor; (2) NSN 5985-01-HS1-2079, P/N 805-10003-001, Directional Antenna; (3) NSN 5841-14-506-2297, P/N 457400ZA1502, Vertical Speed Indicator; (4) NSN 5841-01-HS1-5795, P/N 457400ZB1502, Vertical Speed Indicator; (5) NSN 6610-01-HS1-2078, P/N 457400ZA1501, Vertical Speed Indicator; (6) Service Bulletin Installation #457400-34-086. These components are utilized on the USCG fleet of HH65 aircraft. Contract award will be made utilizing the simplified acquisition procedure test program. The contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary parts, material, labor, tooling, test equipment, specifications, technical manuals and facilities. The contractor must have access to the most current original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications for rework/modification and performance/test/acceptance criteria for these components. The OEM’s cage code for items (1) & (2) is 25583 and 0J2T3 for items (3), (4), (5) and (6). Offerors must provide a copy of their current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Repair Station Certificate and evidence of their ability to obtain the necessary specifications, procedures, manuals and replacement parts from the OEM to be considered for contract award. Drawings or specifications are not available, and cannot be furnished by the Government. Delivery to USCG Aircraft Repair and Supply Center, Receiving Section, Bldg. 63, Elizabeth City, North Carolina, 27909-5001 will be required within 45 calendar days after receipt of component. Earlier deliveries will be accepted. The USCG anticipates award of an indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity contract with a one-year base period and four one-year option periods. Request for solicitation should be made no later than 30 September 2004. Written requests for solicitation may be faxed to (252) 334-5240. Telephonic requests will not be honored. Deadline for receipt of offers will be established upon issuance of the solicitation. NOTE: THIS NOTICE MAY HAVE POSTED ON WWW.FEDBIZOPPS.GOV ON THE DATE INDICATED IN THE NOTICE ITSELF (14-SEP-2004).
