Form /Fit/Function: Integral part of F100 Core module # 3 bearing face seal assembly. Predominant Material: Steel-corrosion resistance. Applicable to: F100/200/220/220E Engine. Destn: Tinker Air Force Base Ok 73145-3032. Delivery: 31 Jul 2005. The approximate solicitation issue date will be 14 Jan 2005. The anticipated award date will be 28 Feb 2005. Written procedure will be used for this solicitation. To: Pratt & Whitney (CAGE: 52661), Kaydon Corp. (CAGE: 75370). No telephone requests. This item requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to assure that prospective offerors are capable of establishing and maintaining effective process control. Award will be made only if the offeror, the product/service, or the manufacturer meets qualification requirements at the time of award in accordance with FAR clause 52.209-1. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential Offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel.
