- Description
- The Department of Air Force announces the release of the Request for Proposal for the Military Family Housing Privatization project for Air Education and Training Command (AETC) Group I (Altus AFB OK, Luke AFB AZ, Sheppard AFB TX and Tyndall AFB FL). This project involves a real estate transaction to privatize all of the military family housing at these four bases into one initiative. The Government intends to lease approximately 1358 acres of land at the four bases for 50 years and convey 3745 existing housing units and other improvements to one successful offeror. The RFP requires the successful offeror to own and operate the rental housing development of 2875 homes at the four bases for military families for 50 years, as well as finance, plan, design, and construct improvements in the development. The Request for Proposal and its Appendices are available for download on the Privatization Support Contractor?s web site, http://www.pscmhc.com.
