Description

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) intends to award, on a sole source basis, a purchase order to All Systems, Inc., located in Cumming, GA . The purchase order is for the purpose of continuing the maintenance agreement on All Systems air conditioning units located at CDC?s leased facilities at Century Center, Executive Park, Decatur Renaissance, 1 West Court Square, and Koger Center. The units were installed by All Systems and are covered by warranty only if All Systems provides the maintenance. All Systems provides immediate call/call back service 24 hours a day and A/C units are programmed to call them directly whenever the alarms are triggered. They also keep in stock the special parts needed to repair these units. The authority for this sole source procurement is FAR part 6.302-1. This is not a request for competitive proposals and no solicitation is available. Firms that believe they can provide the required services are encouraged to identify themselves and give written notification to the Contracting Officer within 15 days from the publication date of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
