Description
The Administrative Office of the United States Courts is soliciting proposals for the design, development, test and implementation of a secure, comprehensive, and efficient case management application. In addition, the contractor shall provide a centrally-hosted web-based application either at the contractor?s site or customer site supporting up to sixty (60) simultaneous users or a client/server application supporting ten (10) simultaneous users. If the proposed application is client/server, it must be compatible with Windows 2000 and XP operating systems, Novell local area network, and Windows 2000 servers. The application shall have the following capabilities: 1) collects, maintains and tracks case management data in a relational database management system (RDBMS) segmented by districts; 2) extracts data from external sources and populates that data into the RDBMS, thus eliminating manual input and mistakes; 3) Imports data from various sources. These sources include, but are not limited to: one time data load from the legacy systems, case management/electronic case filing system, banks? financial data, and trustees? data; 4) a reporting function that enables the customer to generate standard and ad hoc reports to use as management tools and to provide accurate data to judges and other offices. The proposed case management system shall be flexible to allow users to create reports using a report writer; and 5) provide capability for the customer to monitor trustees? financial transactions.
