Description

The VA Medical Center, 1970 Roanoke Blvd., Salem, Virginia is seeking potential sources to provide on-site Interventional Cardiologist services for eligible veteran beneficiaries. Services to include: 1) cardiac catheterizations, including pre-catheterization and post-catheterization evaluations; 2) Percutaneous Coronary Intervention procedures; 3) Cardiology Clinics; 4) reading electrocardiograms and Holter Monitor recordings; 5) Cardiology consults; 6) Intensive Cardiac Unit rounds; 7) echocardiograms, transesophogeal echocardiograms, stress tests and nuclear studies; 8) cardioversions; 9) Medical Resident teaching; and 10) alternate on-call coverage with VAMC staff Cardiologist. Services to be provided for an estimated sixty (60) patients per month. The applicable NAICS Code is 561320 with a size standard of $11.5 Million. Contract period will be one year from date of award with one available option year period. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. Responses to this notice should include the following: name and address of company/provider; business size; socio-economic category, if any; if services are on a FSS; firm?s experience in providing and capability of expeditiously providing Interventional Cardiologist services and any other pertinent information which demonstrates firm?s ability to meet the above requirement.
