Description

Requirements type contract for bread, rolls and doughnuts to be delivered to Fort Knox, Kentucky during the period 1 March 2005 through 28 February 2006. Estimated quantities are: Bread, sliced (8 different types) 375,900 packages; Rolls (6 differe nt types) 167,500 packages; Bagels (3 different types) 30,000 packages; Croissants, 500 packages; Texas Toast, 32,000 packages; Doughnuts (5 different types) 22,550 packages. Contractor shall deliver to approximately 37 different locations within Fort Kno x, Kentucky. This acquisition is unrestricted and all responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. No paper copies of the solicitation will be issued. This solicitation will be posted on the Fort Knox homepage website at: http://www.knox.army.mil/garrison/doc/contracting_opportunities.htm on or about 10 January 2005 with bids due on or about 28 January 2005. Please note these dates are subject to change. All amendments to the solicitation will be likewise posted to this w ebsite. Contractors are cautioned to check this website for amendments. No solicitation mailing list will be compiled. Faxed or electronic bids will not be accepted.
