Description

Extension Assembly, Firing Pin, NSN 1005-00-600-8976, Part Number 6008976. The contractor shall manufacture and delivery this assembly as a replacement part for the Machine Gun, Flex Ground, 50-Caliber, M2, P/N 1005-00-322-9715. It is an assembly o f components including P/N 5009353, Spring; P/N 6008946, Extension; and P/N 5009382, Pin. Proposed contract is unrestricted, full and open competition and will result in a five-year, Indefinite Delivery--Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Firm Fixed Priced, Requ irements type contract. The minimum guaranteed quantity is 1000 per the life of the contract. Delivery is FOB Destination: New Cumberland, PA. Estimated issue date is 2005JAN30. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4. 502 and 5.102, therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested prospective firm to periodically access the provided Internet address in order to obtain any amendments that may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and respond prior to the date and time established for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and as a result may be rejected. All or a part of this action is an unfunded FY 05 requirement.
