Description

The work to be performed includes the replacement of approximately 1,183 meters currently in use with Badger meters and Itron 50W ERT? Modules. The project is located within Placer County, California. Specifically, the area of work will be in Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) Zone 3, Colfax, Applegate, Alta, Gold Run, Dutch Flat and part of Loomis. This project is for the replacement of water meters that are either out of warranty or have over 10 years in service. There will be a site-visit on 13 January beginning at 8:00 AM for this project. It will begin in the PCWA building, American River Room, located at 144 Ferguson Road, Auburn, California 95603 with a short briefing and then there will be a tour of the job sites. All interested parties a re strongly encouraged to attend. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC Code: Y299 SIC Code: 1711 NAICS Code: 238220. The size standard for this code is $12,000,000. ORDERING SOLICITATION: The solicitation for this project will be available on the Sacramento District Contracting Divisions Internet Home Page at http://ebs.spk.usace.army.mil/ for downloading. Any future amendments to the solicitation wi ll also be available for download from this web site. REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION IN ANY OTHER FORMAT THAN WHAT IS ADVERTISED WILL BE DISREGARDED. It is important that you first go to this web site and under contract division home page, clic k on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Go to plan holders registration. This will require you to establish a user name and password. Keep the user name and password and share it with anyone else in your organization that is responsible for registering your firm on plan holders lists. With our new system you only have to do the full registration one time. If you have your user name and password, you can always go back into the system and register for other jobs without having to go thro ugh the entire registration process. This will take you to the next page, then from there click on the file name and download. All responsible sources may submit a bid, which will be considered by the agency.
