Description

Install erosion control, water management practices and site improvements at the McCrady Training Center, South Carolina Army National Guard, Fort Jackson, SC. Major items of work include 21 cu yd of reinforced concrete; 200 linear feet of 18 inch corrugated aluminum pipe for culverts; 37 tons No. 5 gravel rock fill; 1,845 linear feet access road with 1500 tons CR-14 gravel; 1,364 linear feet of grassed road ditch; 915 linear feet of detention diversion; 1 catch basin; 2 ac seeding; 50 linear feet of 6 inch diameter HDPE pipe with riser; 4,510 sq yd of Class I Non-Woven Geotextile fabric and; 6,529 sq yd erosion control blanket. The performance time is 60 calendar days. The estimated price is within the range of $25,000 to $100,000. The solicitation will not be restricted to any group or business size. The NAICS code for this procurement is 234990. The solicitation will be available for viewing and/or downloading from website, www.fedbizopps.gov, on or about July 11, 2003. Interested parties are invited to attend a site showing on Thursday, July 17, 2003. The site showing will begin at 1:30 P.M. in Building 3915, McCrady Training Center of the SC Army National Guard, on Fort Jackson Military Reservation, near Columbia, SC. McCrady Training Center is located on SC 262 (Leesburg Road) approximately 15 miles east of Columbia, SC and 0.5 miles west of US 601. From Columbia, take I-77 to exit 9 and go east on Leesburg Road. Visitors will enter the center at the Guardhouse gate after presenting a copy of the solicitation (or solicitation notice), showing photo identification for all persons in the vehicle, and signing a visitor register. All vehicles are subject to search. Firearms will not be permitted. A designated parking area is located west of the gate. Attendees are encouraged to bring 4 wheel drive vehicles in order to traverse unimproved dirt roads during the site showing.
