Description

RFQ-05-068 is amended to eliminate the requirement for filling generators with excess fuel oil and add a requirement for fuel analysis. Requirement: The contractor shall deliver #2 Diesel Heating Fuel less than 1% sulfur to the AFRH-W Heating plant #46, which is outfitted with (6) gravity feed 20,000-gallon capacity tanks on an as needed basis. In accordance with the AFRH Title V operating permit, each load of fuel must be accompanied by fuel oil analysis that provides the following information: (1) The API Gravity at 60 degrees Fahrenheit, (2) Heat content in BTU per gallon, and (3) weight percent sulfur of the oil. The Contractor shall deliver fuel no later than 24 hours after telephone request from the Contracting Officer’s Technical Representative (COTR) or the Alternate COTR has been placed. Response date and time have been changed to January 7, 2005 @ 12:00 p.m. EST. Period of Performance: Date of Award through September 30, 2005.
