Description

Contractor to provide Tissue Processsing and Staining for the Pathology Department of the VA Medical Center, 4150 Clement Street, San Francisco, CA 94121 for a period of one base year and three one-year options to renew.The required service include Tissue and Cell Blocks (Embedding and 1 H&E Slide each), Recut with 1 H&E Stain and 1 Special Stain. The contractor shall pickup the tissue and cell blocks to be processed from the SFVAMC Monday-Friday between 5:00pm and 6:00 pm except for Government Holidays. By 11:00 am the following day, exempting Saturday, Sunday and Government Holidays, the Contractor shall deliver the corresponding H&E Slides and any special stains required. Full specifications are in the solicitation document. This is a commercial procurement and a Total Small Business Set-Aside. Solicitation will be posted on the following website o/a January 6, 2005: http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov/cgi-bin/WebObjects/BosPublic.woa No web based offers will be accepted. Questions must be in writing and may be emailed to john.gregorio2@med.va.gov or faxed to 925/ 372-2044. NO TELEPHONE CALLS WILL BE ACCEPTED OR RETURNED. The contractor is responsible for downloading all additional documents such as amendments without further notification from the VA.
