- Description
- The Government intends to award a five-year IDIQ contract (basic plus four options) for Captive Air Training Missile (CATM) wings and fins. NSNs/ Part Numbers and Best Estimated Quantities (BEQs) to be solicited are: NSN1420-01-332-5347 (P/N 3820402-101), BEQ: 100 each, NSN 1420-01-364-8445 (P/N 3820431-101), BEQ: 40 each, NSN 1420-01-396-0339 (P/N G601897), BEQ: 200, NSN 1420-01-397-0140 (P/N G601895), BEQ: 60 each, NSN 6920-01-295-3826 (P/N 7038180-1), BEQ 250 each and NSN 6920-01-422-6767 (P/N 7006031-1), BEQ: 130 each. The Government?s intent is to award on an all or nothing basis with the contract award being based on a source selection process which will evaluate price and past performance. This is a small business set aside. Numbered Note 1 applies to this acquisition. If a proven source is not identified as providing best value to the Government for this acquisition, the basic quantity may be split into a First Article quantity, for award to the unproven offeror, and a Minimum Essential Quantity, for award to the proven source, with the balance of the requirement established as options in both contracts. Authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c), (1), ?Supplies (or services) required are available from only one or a limited number of responsible source(s) and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements? may apply. This acquisition may/does involve technology that has a military or space application. The only US contractors who may participate are those that are certified and registered with DLIS and have a legitimate business purpose.
