Description

On behalf of the Army Research Institute (ARI) for the Behavioral and Social Sciences and in accordance with FAR 6.3, the Defense Contracting Command-Washington (DCC-W) intends to execute a commercial simplified award under other than full and open c ompetition - sole source basis for 12 months with all the work performed at the Contractors facilities. The contractor, Joanne C. Marshall-Mies, shall provide expedient analyses of U.S. Army surveys from multiple databases and shall develop briefings und er stringent timelines. These survey analyses are being undertaken to obtain a better understanding of Soldiers attitudes and opinions on a variety of issues related to their Army experiences. Army leaders will use this information to inform decision-ma king and policies. The Contractor shall ensure that the individuals selected to perform this work have a thorough knowledge of the Army to include experience analyzing survey data, working with SPSS and familiarity with ARIs unique requirements. This not ice is NOT a request for proposals. The Government is not going to submit a solicitation for proposals. The DCC-W contracting office must rec eive capability statements no later than close of business 10 January 2005. The Government shall not be liable for, or suffer any consequential damages for any technical information provided. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirem ent based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
