Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: The work to be performed includes the replacement of approximately 1,183 meters currently in use with Badger meters and Itron 50W ERT? Modules. The project is located within Placer County, California. Specifically, the area of work will be in Placer County Water Agency (PCWA) Zone 3, Colfax, Applegate, Alta, Gold Run, Dutch Flat and part of Loomis. This project is for the replacement of water meters that are either out of warranty or have over 10 years in service. There will be a site-visit on 20 January beginning at 8:00 AM for this project. It will begin in the PCWA building, American River Room, located at 144 Ferguson Road, Auburn, California 95603 with a short briefing and then there will be a tour of the job sites. All in terested parties are strongly encouraged to attend. There will be an optional line item titled Project 2 - North Auburn for the installation of an additional 2,259 meters. This Procurement will be conducted under FSC Code: Y299 SIC Code: 1711 NAICS Cod e: 238220. The size standard for this code is $12,000,000. Any future amendments to the solicitation will also be available for download from this web site. REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION IN ANY OTHER FORMAT THAN WHAT IS ADVERTISED WILL BE DISREGARDED. It is important that you first go to this web site and under contract division home page, click on the advertised solicitation you are interested in. Go to plan holders registration. This will require you to esta blish a user name and password.
