Description

Combined Sypnosis Solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will be issued upon contacting Brittany Rusch at (510)437-3177. If interested performing a site visit contact Sean Linden at (707)839-6134. Area plan of work to be performed will be part of the written solicitation. A. General cleaning guidelines (all areas): 1. Vacuum or sweep and mop depending on floor surface 2. Sanitize bathroom areas 3. Dust/wipe down all surfaces 4. Empty garbage and replace bag 5. Wipe all window sills B. Specific cleaning guidelines (applicable areas): 1. Bathrooms and locker rooms: i. Clean and disinfect toilets and urinals ii. Clean and disinfect sinks iii. Clean and disinfect shower stalls iv. Clean mirrors v. Restock toilet paper, paper towels and liquid soap vi. Clean marks and dirt from walls and stall dividers vii. Other cleaning as per section A 2. Lounges: i. Arrange magazines, newspapers and books ii. Other cleaning as per section A C. Requirements: 1. Times contracted services are required: i. Cleaning service required Monday thru Friday ii. Cleaning normally to be performed between hours of 4:30pm and 9:30 pm iii. No service is required weekends or holidays 2. Contractor shall provide all cleaning equipment and chemicals to complete the above tasks. The U.S. Coast Guard will provide the following consumables: paper towels, toilet paper, hand soap and garbage bags. 3. Contractors are required to provide MSDS’s for all chemicals brought onto the base for cleaning. Contractor is responsible for keeping the MSDS’s in a central location at Group Humboldt Bay and for updating them on a regular basis. MSDS’s must be easily located and in plain view for anyone needing access to them. 4. Stripping, waxing and buffing will not be required of the contractor. D. Areas of contract and square footage: 1.
