- *****The purpose of this amendment is to change the maximum response time from 2 hrs to 4 hrs, identify the amount of preventative maintenances that will be required for refrigeration equipment, and add FAR 52.212-3,Offeror Representations and Certifications. To obtain an electronic copy of questions and answers, contractors should e-mail jesse.hardy@charleston.af.mil.*****This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation number is FOXM1N43140001 and is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The associated NAICS code is 333319 with a 500 employee size standard. Contractors shall submit a lump sum quote to include the monthly cost for all services, parts and materials to include delivery and installation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered by agency. The agency need is for a service and preventative maintenance agreement for Dining Facility (Building 468) and Flight Kitchen (Building 166) equipment. Period of Service is for 8 months. Contractor is to provide all labor, tool, supplies, parts and transportation, equipment, and expertise to service and maintain the equipment listed. Maximum response time of 4 hours is required in the event of equipment problems. Preventative Maintenance will be performed on refrigeration equipment every other month for each year of the contract. See attached equipment listing: Place of service is Charleston Air Force Base, SC 29404-5021. The following clauses and provisions are incorporated and will remain in full force in any resultant award. As used in the following clauses, the term ?Governent? is deleted and the abbreviation, Nonappropriated Fund Instrumentality, ?NAFI?, is substituted in lieu thereof. Contractors shall include a completed copy of a completed price schedule and Representations and Certifications, and Other Statements of Offorers or Quoters.
