Description

This is notice of intended sole-source procurement on behalf of the Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC). The procurement is for Triggerguard and Optical Platform Assembly for M40A3 SNIPER RIFLE, posted in accordance with FAR 5.101(a)(2). The Marine Corps Systems Command (MARCORSYSCOM) intends to contract on a sole source basis with D.D. Ross Company, 5672 Arlyne Lane, Medina, OH 44256 for Triggerguard and Optical Platform Assembly for M40A3 Sniper Rifle and associated packaging, marking and shipment. The following represents the governments intended parts list with quantities covered by this solicitation: (1) Recoil Lug Qty-60 each (2) Triggerguard Qty-135 each (3) Triggerguard Floorplate Qty-33 each (4) Triggerguard Latch Qty-33 each (5) Triggerguard Spring Qty-33 each (6) Triggerguard Pin (Rear) Qty-33 each (7) Triggerguard Pin (Front) Qty-33 each (8) Optical Platform Qty-30 each (9) Optical Platform Screw Qty-314 each The anticipated dollar amount is $49,695.00 Period of Performance Date of Contract to 30 September 2005.
