Description
This is a REQUEST FOR INFORMATION (RFI). The HQ Air Intelligence Agency, Acquisition Branch at Lackland AFB, TX, does not intend to award a contract on the basis of this request or to otherwise pay for the information solicited except as an allowable cost under other contracts as provided in subsection 31.205-18, Bid and proposal costs, of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. Although ?proposal? and ?offeror? are used in this Request for Information, your response will be treated as information only. It shall not be used as a proposal. This request is issued for the purpose of doing market research for a requirement and collecting information relative to a potential future business opportunity. The purpose of the requirement is to perform single-scope background investigations (SSBIs) for both Government and civilian applicants in accordance with the Director of Central Intelligence Directive (DCID) 6/4, DOD 5200.2-R and DODD 5105.21-M1. This includes performing the National Agency Check with Local Agency and Credit (NACLC) check. Please provide capability information on your company for this requirement, including acknowledgement of current certification, other organizations for whom you have performed the same or similar work, business size and the maximum estimated number of clearances you can perform within the CONUS during a one-year period. HQ AIA is currently considering feasible timeframes or case deadlines for completion of any SSBIs conducted. These timeframes or case deadlines include 30 calendar days, 45 calendar days, 60 calendar days and 90 calendar days; considering both investigations that require work in San Antonio, TX only and investigations that occur in San Antonio, TX but have leads which don?t go beyond the CONUS area. With this information in mind, please also address the following questions: 1. What is the average cost of a SSBI that requires work in San Antonio, TX only with a case deadline of 30 days, 45 days, 60 days and 90 days? 2. What is the average cost of a SSBI that occur in San Antonio, TX but have leads which don?t go beyond the CONUS area with a case deadline of 30 days, 45 days, 60 days and 90 days? 3..What is you average travel cost per case with leads out of the original investigation area? 4. What risks to your company, to the Government, or to the individuals being investigated have you experienced or do you foresee, if any?
