Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. PAPER COPIES OF THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. Solicitation W912R1-05-T-0009 is issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) using Simplified Acquisition Procedures found in FAR Part 13. Written documentation will not be issued for this quote. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-26 and 27. It is the contractors responsibility to be famili ar with the applicable clauses and provisions. It is anticipated that this acquisition will be a 100% small business set-aside. The NAICS code is 336413 with a small business size standard of 1,000 employees. The contractor shall offer (7) each, duct adap ter kits, PN# VV81561604-10, F-16 aircraft kit, which includes the adapter to the NC-10 air conditioner hose. (It allows for connection from the air conditioner to the aircraft). Unless otherwise specified in the contract or purchase order, the supplier i s responsible for the performance of all inspection requirements and quality Control of the subject product being offered. All clauses and provisions may be viewed at farsite.hill.af.mil. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. The Government will award a firm fixed price contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, considering price and other factors considered. The following factors shall be used to evaluate offers: price and technical capability of the item offered to meet the Government requirement.
