AMENDMENT 0001 TO SOLICITATION W914NS-04-Q2423 The following clarification to the solicitation is provided: A question was asked that was not responded to during the bidding period. Therefore, the date for quotes to be received has been changed to October 06, 2004. IF THIS CLARIFICATION DOES NOT CHANGE YOUR QUOTE, YOU DO NOT NEED TO RESUBMIT A QUOTATION. HOWEVER, YOU MUST EMAIL roy.harris@cpa-iq.org AND ACKNOWLEDGE RECEIPT OF THIS AMENDMENT. Ambient Temperature: -Highest maximum temperature in shade: 55 deg C (for about 6 hours a day) -Maximum daily average: 40 deg C Temperature Rises: -Oil temperature rise: 50 deg C (not 60 deg C) -Winding temperature rise: 55 deg C Please note that the above adopted design criteria are in line with MOE Specifications as well.
