Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quote s are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The 138th Fighter Wing is soliciting quotes for a laser engraver to be delivered to the Oklahoma Air National Guard Base (OKANG) located at 4200 N. 93rd East Ave., Tulsa, OK 74115-1632. The solicitation number is W912L6-05-Q-T001, issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation number is W912L6-05-Q-T001, issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in e ffect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-27. This solicitation is 100% SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The Standard Industry Classification (SIC) for this solicitation is 3541 and the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 333512. Based on the NAICS, the small business size standard for this solicitation is 500 employees. Award will be made on or about February 3, 2005. The items to be purchases are: CLIN 0001  ENGRAVER, LASER, 18 x 32 platform, auto focus, motorized z axis self adjusting spring loaded sealed bearing, shielded optical component, interchangeable focusing optics, flash upgradeable electronics, relocatable origin enhanced vector cuttin g and rubber stamp, tool-free rapid reconfiguration capability, CDRH class 1 safety enclosure for CO2 laser beam, class IIIA for red laser pinter, external exhaust system. Universal Laser Systems model X2660-40/60 or equal CLIN 0002  SOFTWARE, Corel Draw 12 or equal CLIN 0003  COMPOUND, SPRAY, metal marking, P/N: 50-900 or equal CLIN 0004  INSTALLATION, to include two (2) days on-site training Offerors must include with their quotations, a completed copy of FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications  Commercial Items as well as sufficient technical data to allow adequate evaluation of OR EQUAL items.
