Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, pr oposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. We have a requirement for (1) Portable XRF Analyzer, PN # XT245 (with the attached features); (2) Test Stand, PN # Z010; (3) Alloy Standard Set (50 pieces) PN #A008; and (4) AC Ada pter, PN # A013. Additional requirement information must be completed and return entitled Proposal Summary in response to this synopsis/solicitation which can be obtained electronically under: http://www.army.mil/docpage/pages/sol_stat.htm. The solicita tion document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-08 dated 29 Jul 02. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. The applicable NAICS code is 421430 with a size standard of 500 employees. Your price shall be FOB destination. Inspection and acceptance shall be at destination. We will select the best-qualified source as a result of this synopsis on an All or None Basis. Offerors must provide Brand Name only, in order to match exi sting equipment. We prefer to make payment by VISA credit card. You must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) (http://www.ccr.gov/) in order to receive the award if you are selected. If you are not in the CCR at the time we are rea dy to make the award, you will be disqualified. From the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), the following provisions and clauses are applicable to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-4, FAR 52.212-5, FAR 52.203-6 Alt I, FAR 52.219-14, FAR 52.222-21, FAR 52. 222-26, FAR 52.222-35, FAR 52.222-36, FAR 52.222-37, FAR 52.225-13, FAR 52.222-41, FAR 52.222-42 (52.232-33, 52.232-36).
