Description

This synopsis is modified from the original to change the proposed contract type to a 5 year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. Maximum 5 year requirement is 10,000 each, Protector, Front Sight. FOB is destination. The r esponse date listed above is for archive purposes only and is NOT the date in which offers are due. This date will not be issued until the solicitation is issued. Estimated solicitation issue date is 7 February 2005. This is an ESTIMATED date only and is subject to change. This solicitation incorporates a Technical Data Package (TDP) that cannot be provided via the internet. Vendors who need this TDP in order to prepare a bid or proposal must sign the non-disclosure and non-use agreement which will be a n attachment to the solicitation. Signed copies of the non-disclosure and non-use agreement must be completed and submitted to the fax number provided on the agreement before a TDP will be sent. Any said requests should contain the following information; CAGE Code (if available), Company Name, Point of Contact (optional), Street Address, City, State, Zip Code, Telephone Number. A TDP will be provided by normal mail after the solicitation has been released to the Internet and the non-disclosure and non-u se agreement has been executed. A License Agreement between FN Herstal and the US requires the items procured to be manufactured exclusively in the US and Canada. The successful offeror under this solicitation agrees to manufacture the items being procur ed under this contract exclusively within the US and Canada.
