Description

The US Coast Guard Maintenance and Logistics Command Pacific, Naval Engineering Division, intends to contract the Renewal and the Alignment of both Main Diesel Engines of the USCGC Edisto at Pier space located at Pt Loma Naval Base in San Diego, Ca. The period of performance is 07 Mar 2005 through 25 Mar 2005. Ship check is highly recommended and should coordinate with CGC Edisto Point of Contact, Chief Riedlinger at (619) 222-0956. This acquisition is being conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Attention: Minority Women Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises, The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist minority, women owned and disadvantaged business enterprises to acquire short term working capital assistance for transportation related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $500,000.
