Description

SYNOPSIS: THE REASON FOR THIS AMENDMENT IS TO DELETE THE TYPOGRAPHICAL MISTAKE IN SECTION 13330 OF THE SPECIFICATIONS. PART 2.1 IS INCORRECTLY TITLED: "MODULAR STEEL TOWER (GFM)". THE STEEL TOWER WILL NOT BE FURNISHED BY THE GOVERNMENT AND IS TO BE PROVIDED BY THE CONTRACTOR. THE SOLICITATION DUE DATE IS EXTENDED AND MODIFIED TO JANUARY 21, 2005. Provide all labor, materials, tools, and equipment to A. Remove existing fallen 48-foot tall freestanding tower and wooden foundation, B. Construct a land-based pile supported 16 foot square foundation, C. Erect and install a 35-foot tall freestanding tower on that foundation at the Head of Passes area of the Mississippi River approx. 2 miles south of Pilottown, LA. The performance period is sixty- (60) calendar days, which includes the time for material submittal approval. All work at the site shall be complete within 60 calendar days. The estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. Award will be made to the lowest responsible, responsive quote. The anticipated award date is January 19, 2005. This solicitation is being issued as a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990, with a size standard of 28.5 Million.
