Description

The USDA Agricultural Research Service will issue an Invitation for Bid for the construction of a new Headhouse/Greenhouse at the Center for Medical, Agricultural and Veterinary Entomology, Gainesville, FL. Work includes civil, architectural, structural, plumbing, fire protection, mechanical and electrical work as specified to construct a 2,300 square foot masonry and bar joist building (headhouse) and an attached 3200 square foot aluminum-framed building (greenhouse). A site showing will be scheduled; the date and time will be announced in the solicitation. The estimated price is expected to be between $500,000 and $1,000,000. The planned issue date is on or about February 1, 2005; the bid opening date will depend upon the actual issue date, so the date indicated above is only approximate. Only hard copy solicitations will be issued. Request the solicitation in writing or via fax (706-546-3444) from Pat Jones, Procurement Technician. YOU MUST CONTACT MS.
