Description

The U.S. Department of State, Office Of Acquisition Management, intends to issue a sole source award to Ariba, 807 11th Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94089, for Technical Support Services from Ariba for its Ariba Buyer software. The Ariba Buyer software has been customized for the State Department. The State Department has an ongoing need for Ariba's technical support services comprised of Ariba phone support or product updates for Ariba software programs, which would require a source code license. It is the best interest of the Government to directly purchase the technical support services essential to the ongoing operation of ILMS. It is contemplated that this will be accomplished by means of a firm, fixed price contract for a based period of one year, plus, four-one-year option periods. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS. The Government intends to solicit only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Ariba, has been determined as the only responsible source. See Note 22
