Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. A solicitation resulting in a Cost Plus Fixed Fee modification to contract DAAE07-02-C-L059 will be issued to Alion Science & Technology (formerly Illinois Institute of Technology Research Institute (IITRI) on a sole source basis. Award is projected for the 2nd Qtr FY05; GWOT funds will be used for this procurement. The contractor shall perform the following effort in 24 months from contract award. The contractor shall: Build three (3) La the Manufacturing Modules and deliver two to South West Asia and the other to Focus HOPE facility for training. Support and maintain three (3) Lathe Manufacturing Modules.
