The Government intends to award on an other than full and open competition contract, a Firm Fixed Price, five year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) type contract. The contractor shall furnish all depot level labor, facilities, special tooling, test equipment and materials/parts for Overhaul and Recapitalization of: T700-GE-700 Cold Section Modules, Input/Output NSN: 2840-01-094-5547, P/N: 6035T02G01 minimum quantity is 50, and maximum quantity of 250 each; T700-GE-701 Cold Section Mod ules, Input/Output NSN: 2840-01-121-0751, P/N: 6044T07G01 minimum quantity is 20, and maximum quantity of 100 each; T700-GE-701C Cold Section Modules, Input/Output NSN: 2840-01-284-4013, P/N: 6071T25G01 minimum quantity is 90, and maximum quantity of 450 e ach. The overhaul and recapitalization will be accomplished in accordance with Depot Maintenance Work Requirement 1-2840-248-1 and 1-2840-248-2, with Change 5 and all applicable Maintenance Engineering Orders (MEO). The DMWR requires utilizing an automati c data acquisition and reduction program (DRP), which must be approved by AMCOM for performance testing. Use of the DRP allows the cold section to be evaluated on its own merit instead of being passed due to the strength of the slave engine. This in turn ensures that the cold sections sent to the field indeed meet requirements and results in maximum on-wing life. At the present, the only company possessing a DRP approved by AMCOM is General Electric. Responsible businesses that can perform the above eff ort may submit an offer, which may be considered by the Agency. Due to the backlog in the AMCOM testing facility, approval for DRP could be in excess of one year. Award of this effort is urgent and will not be delayed awaiting approval of other sources. T his requirement is currently unfunded. Award will be withheld pending receipt of sufficient funds. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not clos e prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies, not direct to AMCOM. No telephone or e-mail requests will be accepted. Request must be by data fax or mail only. You may data fax or mail your request to, ATTN: AMSAM-AC-LM-M, Mr. Pete Papasifakis, Contract Specialist or Ms. Jeanie Clark, Contracting Officer, or datafax at (256) 313-8194.
