Description

The National Park Service, Delaware Water Gap National Recreation Area, seeks potential suppliers for a mix of native grass seeds of the following local Pennsylvania/Northeast ecotypes and cultivars: Niagara Big Bluestem (Andropogon gerardii), Shelter Switchgrass (Panicum virgatum), Tioga Deertongue (Panicum clandestinum), WI Ecotype Indian Grass (Sorghastrum nutans), Canada Wild Rye, Eastern ecotype (Elymus Canadensis), Virginia Wild Rye, Eastern ecotype (Elymus virginicus), Silky Wild Rye, Eastern ecotype (Elymus villosus) and Riverbank Wild Rye, Eastern ecotype (Elymus riparius). The estimated amount to be ordered will be between 2,000 lbs and 3.000 lbs Pure Live Seed. Interested parties should provide the name/address of company, point of contact with phone/fax number and e-mail address, if available. Respondents information must be received within fourteen calendar days from the date of publication of this notice. Note: This is not a request for solicitation and no contract will be awarded solely on the basis of the response hereto. This notice is not to be construed as a commitment by the government to ultimately issue an IFDB, RFP, RFQ or contract. The information provided will be evaluated and used to determine if competitive opportunities exist and may represent the government's only official notice of this procurement.
