Description
DESC: The Naval Medical Logistics Command (NMLC) seeks sources to provide health care worker services at any Department of Defense or Coast Guard military dental treatment facilities (DTFs), branch dental clinics (BDCs), or other dental activities specified with the states of Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, the District of Columbia, and the following counties and cities in the state of Virginia: Fairfax, Arlington, Alexandria, Loudoun, Prince William, Spotsylvania, and King George. The total quantity and the specific identity of all clinics to be encompassed will be provided in the RFP. The government intends to award multiple personal service, fixed price, indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity type contracts. Health care worker services to be included in this acquisition are: Dental Assistants, Dental Hygienists, Dental Laboratory Technicians, and Dentists for the contract maximums with a five-year ordering period. The minimum quantities will be ordered via issuance of task orders awarded concurrently with the award of the basic contracts. Subsequent task orders for quantities exceeding the minimum amounts will be competed among successful contract awardees. NAICS for this requirement is 622110. This acquisition is totally set aside for small business (See numbered note 1). All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered. No RFP?s will be mailed to offerors. The RFP and all amendments for this acquisition will be available electronically, and will be posted on the NMLC website at http://www.nmlc.med.navy.mil/acquisitions/rfp.asp and will be released on or about 27 January 2005.
