- Services to detect rotating machinery problems as required by SUPSHIP, Integrated Planning Activity (IPA), Chesapeake, VA for U.S. Navy Aircraft Carriers (CV/CVN) and Battle Group Support Vessels. Services are for Machinery Condition Analysis (MCA) services to include use of tri-axial vibration analysis to detect rotating machinery problems on board aircraft carriers and battle group support vessels. Contract type will be an Indefinite delivery, Indefinite quantity, TIME & MATERIAL type with delivery order provisions for a base period of 12 months with four 12 month option periods to extend. The estimated man hours for the five year period are estimated 93,922 reg man hours and estimated 3,792 overtime man hours. The estimated period of performance start date shall be 05 Oct 2004 or soon thereafter. The Contractor must be approved by NAVSEA to enter propulsion areas/radiation Plant prior to award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 541330 and the size standard is $23.0 Mil. This procurement will be solicited as a negotiated procurement, Request for Proposal (RFP), N00189-04-R-0023, unrestricted. THIS AQUISITION WILL BE A SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. The solicitation will be posted on the FEDBIZOPPS located at: htpp://www2.eps.gov. The solicitation will not be mailed to offerors. The offerors are responsible for downloading the solicitation off of the web site.
