Description

The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USUHS), the Department of Defense Medical School and Health Sciences University, hereby announces its intent to award to a sole source purchase order to M.J. Research in Reno, NV to provide a Chromo4 Four-Color Real-Time PCR System for studies that will allow quantitative levels of targeted DNA sequences in various samples. USUHS has the requirement for a Real-Time PCR module that is compatible with a Dyad Thermal Cycler and must fit into the existing Dyad DNA Engine already located at the school. The statutory authority permitting this award under other than full and open competition is 10 U.S.C. 2304(C)(1), as cited in FAR 6.302-1 that authorizes USUHS to award contracts when only one source and no other supplies or service will satisfy agency requirements.
