Description

The PEPFAR Program Coordinator, reports to the Chief of Mission in Tanzania, and will assume responsibility for managing critical communications between and among the various USG departments & agencies involved in the Emergency Plan, liaising routinely with OGAC, particularly the Tanzanian Inter-agency Core Team, designated Embassy counterparts, and with representatives of the USG Emergency Plan implementing agencies (IHCC). The Coordinator will be the senior USG representatives on all national, development partner, & global coordination mechanisms in Tanzania, including the Global Fund Couontry Coordinating Mechanism; the AIDS Dev Partner Group and Multilateral Health Forum. The incumbent will provide advice and counsel to the U.S. Chief of Mission on all matters related to HIV/AIDS in Tanzania.
