Description

NA This serves as a "Notice of Intent" to issue a purchase order under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (FAR Part 13) to Spectrogon U.S., INC., Parsippany, New Jersey 07054, on a Sole Source basis to purchase J, H, and K Band Infrared Optical Filters. This document incorporates provisions and clauses that are in effect through Federal Acquisition Cicular (FAC) 2001 - 26&27 effective 01 Jan 2005. The NAICS Code for this synopsis/solicitation is 333314, Size Standard is 500 employees. The Government intends to award three (3) contract line item numbers (CLIN 0001) for "J" Band Infrared Optical Filters or Equivalent. An Equivalent must meet the following specifications: Cut on FWZP Low-1150 -25+50, ? Power FWHM-Low-1170 +/-50, Center 1250 +/-50, ? Power FWHM-High 1320 +/-50, Cut off FWZP-High-1330 -50+25, Center 1250, Half Width 150, Units are in Nanometers. Wavelength Specifications are at Room Temperature (20 Degrees C), Filter size: 23.4 +/- 0.1mm, Diameter x 1.0 +/- 0.1 mm Thick, Transmittance: >70%, Blocking: < 0.1 UV to minimum 4000 (Far IR proffered). Quantity: 20. Unit of Measure: EA. Desired Delivery Date: 15 April 2005, FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and Acceptance: DESTINATION. (CLIN 0002) for "H" Band Infrared Optical Filters or Equivalent. An Equivalent must meet the following Specifications: Cut on FWZP Low- 1450 -25+50, ? Half Power FWHM Low 1510 +/- 50, Center 1620 +/- 50, ? Power FWHM High 1760 +/- 50, Cut off FWZP High 1960 -50+25, Center 1620, Half Width250. Units are in Nanometers. Wavelength Specs., Filter Size, Transmittance and Blocking as in CLIN 0001 above.. Quantity: 40. Unit of Measure: EA. Desired Delivery Date: 15 April 2005. FOB:DESTINATION. Inspection and Acceptance: DESTINATION. (CLIN 0003) for "K" Band Infrared Optical Filters or Equivalent. An Equivalent must meet the following specifications: Cut on FWZP Low-2010 -25+50, ? Power FWHM-High 2040 +/-50, Center 2220 +/-50, ? Power FWHM - High 2360 +/-50, Cut off FWZP High- 2420 -50+25, Center 2220, Half Width 320. Units are in Nanometers. Wavelenght Specs., Filter Size, Transmittance and Blocking as in CLIN 1 above. Quantity: 20. Unit of Measure: EA. Desired Delivery Date: 15 April 2005. FOB: DESTINATION. Inspection and Acceptance: DESTINATION. This requirement is deemed to be available from only one source because of the unique features of the infrared Optical Filters. No formal request will be issued for this procurement.
