Description

Requirement is for award of a Mulitiple Award Construction Contract (MACC). MACC is defined as a multiple award, competitive design-build indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) construction acquisition based on a general statement of work fu rther defined with each individual task order. The work will consist of multiple disciplines in general construction categories to include maintenance, repair and alteration of real property, as well as new minor construction, located at Fort McCoy, Wisco nsin. Locations of performance include base facilities and all tenant organizations. The performance period will be from 1 May 2005 - 30 April 2006 with four one-year option periods. The only work which will be authorized under this contract is that whi ch is ordered via a Task Order. Within the solicitation, contractors will be asked to submit proposals for a seed project which will be awarded to the responsible contractor who offers the best value proposal for the seed project. The seed project will s atisfy the minimum guaranteed quantity for the MACC contract. THE GOVERNMENT RESERVES THE RIGHT TO AWARD THREE TO SIX CONTRACTS AS A RESULT OF THIS SOLICITATION with the minimum guaranteed seed project awarded to only one of the contractors. This contrac t will be awarded pursuant to the Small Business Competitive Demonstration Program. The method of procurement will be unrestricted under NAICS 236220 with a corresponding business size standard of $28.5 Mil and will result in the award of a firm-fixed pri ce indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ) construction contract. This acquisition is being conducted under FAR Part 15. The Request for Proposal (RFP) will be available electronically at http://www.fedbizopps.gov on or about February 9, 2005.
