Description

DESCRIPTION: SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS, INCLUDING DRAWINGS, WILL BE AVAILABLE ON THE WEBSITE ONLY. Work as specified Construct approximately six to eight moorage assemblies for houseboats to be located at Bruces Eddy boat launching and recreation site on Dworshak reservoir. Each moorage assembly consists of a concrete or steel anchor to resist a wor king load of 10,300 lb, wire rope, buoy with tie off cleat, and all connecting hardware. All materials are contractor furnished, assembled and installed. Anchors are to be placed in the reservoir. When the reservoir is completely full the anchors will b e located approximately 45-450 feet below the water surface. ADMIN INFO: The estimated cost range for this job is between $25,000 and $100,000. THIS IS A SET ASIDE PROCUREMENT IAW HUBZONE SET-ASIDE PROCEDURES AND FAR 19.1305. All responsible HUBZone bu siness sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. THIS PROCUREMENT IS HUBZONE SET ASIDE. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 237990. The small business size standard is average annual receipts for the previous th ree fiscal years must not exceed $28,500,000.00. In order for contractors to conduct business with the Department of Defense, the contractor must provide registration information to the Central Contractor Registration (CCR). Contractors can access the CC R for free at http://www.ccr.gov. This synopsis is not a request for proposals, but a notice that a solicitation will be issued. A site visit has been scheduled for Wednesday, January 25, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Bruces Eddy. If you are interested in atte nding, you must call 509-527-7062 at least 24 hours prior.
