Description

JOB DESCRIPTION: This is a design/build project; the offeror chosen will complete the design and construct the facility. Renovate Barracks Buildings 645and 646 (1985-1988 vintage) in order to bring them up to a modified 1+1 configuration. Work entai ls the reconfiguration of 44 existing rooms (in each building) to provide suites of two semi-private sleeping rooms and one private sleeping room, each with its own built-in closet(s). The reconfiguration will provide one shared bath and service area and o ne private bath and service area. Work also includes replacing interior wall finishes, replacing ceilings, replacing flooring, installing/replacing lighting throughout each building, upgrading the HVAC system, replacing the plumbing system, upgrading the e lectrical system, installing/replacing the fire detection system, and installing a new fire sprinkler system. ESTIMATED COST RANGE OF PROJECT: $5,000,000 Thru $10,000,000 This Procurement will be conducted under FSC CODE: Z199, SIC CODE: 1542, NAICS Code: 236220. The size standard for this code is $28,500,000.
