Description

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service intends to issue a non-competitive blanket purchase agreement with two one year option periods to Fauna Link to house and care for wildlife seized from the Port of Miami and other ports of entry in the United States. They will be responsible for the accountabilty of all wildlife that they have until the case has been adjudicated. Fauna Link's location is in proximity to the Miami port office and the facilities are very secure. Veterinary care is provided by Faunalink also. Fauna Llink has facilities for wildlife requiring climate control environments and they can house various species within the same facility. THIS NOTICE IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR QUOTATION NOR A SOLICITATION OF OFFERS. A determination not to compete this proposed contract has been made Pursuant to 41 U.S.C. 253(c)(1), as implemented by 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), this requirement has been justified and approved in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.304.
