PRON: AX579393AX, NSN: 1615-01-113-0242, PN: 145D5322-3 QUANTITY: Min: 150 each/Max: 470; 5 Year Indefinite Delivery/ Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract, applic able to the CH-47, with deliveries to New Cumberland, PA 17070-5001. This item is restricted to Boeing Helicopter Cage Code 77272, Northstar Aerospace-Chicago Cage Code 29207, and Ellanef Manf Corp Cage Code 85941. This part requires engineering source ap proval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineering skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s). The approved source(s) retain data rights, manufacturing knowledge is essential to maintaining the quality of the part. An alternate source must qualify in accordance with the design control activitys procedures, as approved by the cognizant Government engineering activity. The qualification procedures must be approved by the Government engineering activity having jurisdiction over the part in the intended application. A Contractor First Article is required. Production Lead-time with First Article Test ing is 150 each, 375 Days After contract Award (DACA) and 80 each 250 DACA. Production Lead-time with Article II Clause is 313 DACA. Firms that can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged t o seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation requirements. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. Foreign firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. Adequate technical data is not available for this acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. NOTES: 23 and 26
