Description

This synopsis/solicitation is for masticating services to be performed in El Cariso Penny Pines on the Cleveland National Forest, Trabuco Ranger District. There are 50 acres to be masticated down to 6 inches and no more than 18 inches of cut material left on the ground. Minimal soil disturbance is to be allowed. Low ground pressure equipment is to be used. Rocks and trees can be worked around within 1 foot at the base. Any prospective contractor desiring the solicitation and specifications must do so in writing to Linda Ford, Procurement Assistant. Contractors must be registered with Central Contractors Registration (CCR) before an award can be made. Registration can be done online @http://www.ccr.gov. Quotations must be signed and include taxpayer ID and DUNS numbers. Quotations should be bid by the acre. Government estimate is between $25,000.00 and $100,000.00. NAICS 115310 SBA size standard $6.0 million. Contract time is 90 days. Start date is May 16, 2005. OFFERS ARE DUE BY 12:00 NOON, LOCAL TIME, FEBRUARY 22, 2005.
