- United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) intends to issue to Consolidated Engineering Services? Electronic Control Center (ECC), 2345 Crystal Drive, Arlington, VA 22202, a sole source purchase order for a maintenance contract for the monitoring and remote control of air handlers, motor generators, specified HVAC equipment, fire and smoke alarms and other installed equipment that provides long distance remote control and monitoring support. This purchase order is being issued pursuant to FAR 6.302-1 ?only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements?. The solicitation number is 292P0560084 and the period of performance is through June 30th, 2005. These environmental systems support the environmental stability of the USPTO Data Center and the Emerging Technology Center (ETC) located at 2011 Crystal drive, Crystal Park 2, 10th and 11th floors, Arlington, VA 22202. USPTO has determined that there is no other feasible alternative source that can supply this service of the below stated specifications because Consolidated Engineering Services is the owner of the building. The points to be monitored and controlled by the ECC shall include the following: (a) All connected USPTO monitoring and control points. (b) The remote monitoring and control services shall be accomplished utilizing licensed D.C. Third Class Operating Engineers. (c) The ECC shall staff its center with at least one D.C. licensed Third Class Operating Engineer, 24-hours per day, 365 days per year.
