Hardage, Contracting Officer, FAX 256-842-7629, AMSAM-AC-LM-L, E-mail: Carol.Hardage@redstone.army.mil; NSN: 1615-00-111-3623; P/N: 204-011-722 (-5); PRON: AX5J0007AX; NOUN: Yoke Assembly, Rotor; Quantity: 6 each, requirement applicable to UH-1 (Huey) with deliveries to East Rockaway, NY 11518 -1235 and Norfolk, VA 23502-1917. Required delivery with First Article Testing is 6 each, 270 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Required delivery with Article II is 6 each, 225 DACA. Required delivery without First Article Testing is 6 each, 180 DACA. This item is restricted to Bell Helicopter Textron, Inc., CAGE Code: 97499 because this part requires engineering source approval by the design control activity in order to maintain the quality of the part. Existing unique design capability, engineerin g skills, and manufacturing knowledge by the qualified source(s) require acquisition of the part from the approved source(s) and the data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available. Adequate technical data is not available for t his acquisition. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source a pproval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website www.redstone.army.mil/cmo/ and looking under CAPSAR and Policy Relating to Source Approval Request (SAR) for Aviation Requirments. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above.
