Description

HOSPITAL HOUSEKEEPING SERVICES AT FORT MEADE, FORT DETRICK, AND ABERDEEN/EDGEWOOD. Solicitation number W81K0404R0023, Points of Contact are Sharyl Carlson, Contract Specialist (210) 221-3179 and Ms. Barbara Peterson, Contracting Officer (210) 221-469 5. This requirement is for Non-Personal Services Hospital Housekeeping Services at Kimbrough Ambulatory Care Center, Barquist at Fort Detrick, Aberdeen Proving Ground and any respective out buildings. The contractor shall possess corporate, hospital housek eeping experience. The contractor shall have gained this experience as a result of being regularly engaged in the business of providing hospital housekeeping services in health-care/patient-care environments. The minimum level of acceptable experience shal l be at least 24 months (full time) within the previous 36 months of the due date established for submission of proposals(s). Periods of acceptable performance may have been incurred at more than one site for at least 12 consecutive months at each site and cannot be gained at two or more sites concurrently. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, supervision, management support, transportation, equipment, tools, materials and services to provide complete hospital housekeeping services. The total square feet are approximately 279,795. The base period of performance will be from 1 April 2005 through 30 September 2005 with four 1-year options. The solicitation will be issued on or about 10 February 2005. This procurement is 100% 8(a) set-aside and only proposal s received from responsible 8(a) business sources will be considered. The NAICS code is 561720.
