Description: This is a notice of intent to issue an order to Norsat International, Inc., 300-4401 Still Creek Drive, Burnaby BC, on a sole source basis under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). The proposed procurement is for 1 each, Norsat NewsLink System with 40W SSPA & 2.4m Antenna DVIDS Satellite Terminal Systems. This satellite terminal is required to provide compatibility with existing DVIDS systems fielded by Army Public Affairs units. Norsat is the vendor selected for this initiative, which currently includes more than 25 terminals worldwide supporting public affairs missions.
