Item 0001 is a Roller Bearing. NSN: 3110008682742RV. P/N: 452395. Cylindrical Type Roller Bearing. 4.2520 ID X 5.6930 OD X .9449 THK Material is Rockwell hardness C57 and AMS 1224. Contains 28 rollers. Appl all TF33/J57. Contains precious metal. I.A.W. current drawing. Quantity Ranges of: Max- 178, Med- 142, and Min- 71 EA. Destn: Tinker AFB OK 73145-3032. Delivery: March 2006. New/unused surplus is acceptable. The approximate issue date of solicitation will be 15 October 2004. The anticipated award date is November 2004. Due to the complexity and criticality of this part, only actual manufacturers that have successfully completed all testing required by the original company responsible for the design, can be considered approved sources for this item. Electronic procedures will be used for this solicitation. Written quotations are required. It is suggested that small business firms or others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with the described procurement make contact with PRATT & WHITNEY. Specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Note: An Ombudsman has been appointed to hear concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The purpose of the Ombudsman is not to diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but to communicate contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman will maintain strict confidentiality as to source selection process.
