Description: The US Army CECOM proposes to procure a five-year Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery Quantity contract for up to 1500 each diesel engines, NSN 2815-01-486-7691 and 1500 each starters, NSN 2815-01-486-5552. These units will support the 5KW Generato r Set, MEP-952 Auxiliary Power Unit(APU). The engine Part Number is 96-9370 and the starter part number is 547.206.1. The proposed action is for limited competition of the Farymann engine and starter to include other sources, Farymann distributor, Parts a re Parts Inc.(PRP) and other source, Goodman-Ball that may have the required inventories of engines and starters. All responsible sources may submit a bid which will be considered by this agency.
