Description

Construct a new 12,400 SF, 2 story facility with reinforced concrete footings, foundation, and floor slab; structural steel framing, concrete split face masonry unit walls with maintenance-free exterior finish and standing seam metal roof, including building mechanical, elevator, plumbing, and electrical systems, HVAC, communications/computer management system, fire protection, site utilities, pavements, and site improvements. This building includes a large firearm training simulator. THIS PROJECT IS A FULL AND OPEN PROCUREMENT AND WILL BE EVALUATED AS LOWEST PRICED, TECHNICALLY ACCEPTABLE. The evaluation criteria will be broken down into two major areas, price and technical. The technical area consists of the following sub areas: Experience of the Prime Contractor; Individual Personnel Experience; Past Performance Information and Management Plan. A Subcontracting Plan will be required. The HUBZONE Price Evaluation Preference applies to this procurement. The Plans and S pecifications will be issued o/a 4 February 2005. This project is available on compact disk only. Project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. The drawing files are in CAL format and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Source View Reader. Both readers are contained in the solicitation package. Minimum system requirements are: 486- based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 8 MB application RAM, 4 MB hard disk space, and compact disk drive.
