Description
The Seattle District Corps of Engineers has a competitive requirement to construct Corrosion Control/Age Facility, Malmstrom AFB, MT. This project consists of construction of a new Corrosion Control Facility, to include 13,117 SF (1219 SM) of operat ional space and 3153 SF (293 SM) of administrative space. The work will consist of providing an adequate ventilation system, flammables storage, an adequate electrical system for AGE equipment, a powerful compressor, provisions for the flame-coating pro cess, a garage for maintenance vehicles and light cart warm storage, and a fire safety code-compliant fire suppression and alarm system; providing the administrative area with showers, offices, a training room and storage. This requirement will be a Best Value procurement conducted in accordance with procedures outlined in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Part 15. Period of performance is 389 calendar days. The price range for this project is between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American In dustry Classification System with a size standard of $28.5 million. The solicitation will be a Request for Proposals, and a fixed-price contract will be awarded as a result of this procurement. This project is open to both large and small business. If you are a large business and your proposal will exceed $1 million, you will be required to submit a subcontracting plan with goals for small, HUBZone, small disadvantaged, small woman-owned, and small veteran-owned concerns. For the purposes of this proc urement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last 3 fiscal years, does not exceed $28.5 million.
